Introduction

At Openforge Pte Ltd, We recognize the importance of safeguarding Your data. This policy outlines our commitment to protecting the personal data of our customers in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore.

Scope

This policy governs the use of data collected by Our website at http://openforge.tech/ and the NAPFA Go application (“NAPFA Go”). Such data included personally identifiable information that We collect when You create an account, and all other data created by You, within Our Software as a Service (SaaS) platform.

By using NAPFA Go, You agree to this Policy. If You do not agree, please do NOT use NAPFA Go.

Data Collection

Accounts are created by teachers or designated administrators. We collect personal data only for the purposes of providing, maintaining, and improving Our services. The types of personal data We collect include, but are not limited to:

• Name

• Gender

• Contact information (email address, phone number)

• Usage data (session results, game content, log data)

(Collectively “Personal Data”)

Data Usage

Personal Data is used solely for the purposes for which it was collected, including:

• Providing You access to Our services: identity verification; storing data that You have created on the platform

• Billing and account management

• Customer support and communication

• Enhancing our services: understand and analyse the data and user patterns, to develop new features;

• Compliance with legal obligations: prevention and detection of activities that may breach local laws or regulation.

Data Security

Our security measures to protect customer data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction include encryption of data in transit and at rest, and access controls and authentication mechanisms.

Should there be a security breach, We will notify You in accordance with the timeframes prescribed by the PDPA and any other applicable Singapore law. 

Data Retention

We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected.

We will cease to retain Personal Data when such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes. This is typically two (2) weeks from the time the Personal Data is uploaded onto the platform. Data will then be deleted from Our platform.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share or disclose Your Personal Data to third parties except in the following circumstances:

• With Your consent

• To comply with legal obligations and requests from government or regulatory authorities. In such event, We will endeavour to provide You with prior notice, unless legally prohibited from doing so.

Customer Rights

You have the right to access; correct inaccuracies in, or delete, Your Personal Data; and withdraw Your consent.

To exercise these rights, You can contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@openforge.tech.

Should You choose to withdraw Your consent, please note that depending on the nature and scope of Your request, We may not be able to continue providing Our service to You, or provide You with services You have requested for, or continue the existing relationship You have with Us. In that event, We shall notify You before completing processing of Your request. Should You decide to cancel Your withdrawal of consent, please inform Us in writing.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect Our right to continue to collect, use and  disclose Personal Data where such collection, use and disclose without consent is permitted  or required under applicable laws.

In the event You would like to delete your account or any other content submitted to Us, please contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@openforge.tech. We may retain your Personal Data for up to 30 days from the date of Your request, to provide customer support and to ensure that there has been no inadvertent deletion.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in Our practices or legal requirements. You will be notified of any significant changes through Our website or other communication channels.
